Charles smiled”Hello Lillian”Charles sighed and looked at Lilian”I… I… I don’t know how to start…Can I enter?”Charles looked at his feet without knowing what to do.
“Oh, sure. I’m sorry, that’s so…” Lilian just shook her head and entered the room with Charles in tow. “So, um, how are you? I heard swimming practise is harder than ever before. When’s your next competition?” Instead of just being calm and quiet Lilian now started talking her head of. “Cheerleading isn’t that easy at the moment, though. Since Nicole suddenly disappeared…” You’re such a fool, Lilian said and bit her lip. How could she suddenly start talking about Nicole? Almost sounded like she wanted to blame him again. “I - I didn’t want to say that…”
Charles came in and looked at Lilian “I am… Fine. “He smiled”Swiming practice are like always… A fight to see who is the best… Soon. We are having it really soon. “He touched his nose. It hurted a lot. damm it tyler! Charles looked away when Lilian mentioned Nicole and sighed. “Yeah I heard about …Nicole… How… Is..:Everything? “
“I’m glad you’re fine,” she said and returned a smile. “Great, I’ll be there, I guess. Some good-looking guys swimming in a competition - sounds like fun to me.” Lilian laughed, but seeing Charles’ painful reaction when he touched his nose, she suddenly stopped. “How’s your nose? Do you need something? Ice? Did you see a doctor?” Screw the past, why was she such a bad best friend and didn’t ask after his nose before? Why was she so resentful? “Just sit down, alright? I’ll get you something to drink. And ice!” A few minutes later Lilian put two glasses and a bottle of water on her night table and handed the package of frozen peas to Charles. “I hope that will help,” she said and then started chatter about something of no consequence. “Did you already learned for exams? I’m a little bit worried that I won’t make it. But exams mean a prom really, really soon. You know I love wearing these beautiful dresses, dancing all night long…”
Charles sighed”Yes of course…Good looking guys swimming”He touched his nose”I went to the doctor. She said it would be fine….Lilian I don’t.”He sat down on her bed”Ok…Ok” He waited for the girl looking at everything and when she got back, he grabbed the frozen peas” I am… I think I am ready for exams… Yes prom. I really know about it.
So many finals, I want to have fun. I may start a lil party of my own.
